HORNBACH has been practicing blended learning activities successfully for over ten years. In order to be one step ahead of their competitors, HORNBACH has been on the lookout for a system that enables an efficient production process for high-quality e-learning courses. After a significant marketing analysis encompassing many months of review, HORNBACH chose the Mohive system.
After an initial screening of the market, four systems were thoroughly reviewed. HORNBACH developed a benchmark process that was used for a final evaluation with a strong focus on usability. Due to the positive results – especially in the category of quality assurance, online collaboration, usability and multi-language support – HORNBACH chose Mohive’s e-Learning Publishing System.
“After an extensive market screening, we are proud that HORNBACH chose Mohive to deliver their e-learning publishing system,” said Lars Unneberg, Mohive CEO. “Mohive eLPS includes built-in workflow which facilitates and encourages the use of subject matter experts, which is a critical part of the HORNBACH implementation plan.”
“From the very first meeting, working with Mohive gave us a good feeling – they simply got the idea of what we were looking for,” says Gabi Ullmerich, head of department Training/Multimedia at HORNBACH. “Thus we were able to assure ourselves step by step of having made the right decision in choosing Mohive’s e-Learning Publishing System.”
With this approach, HORNBACH will transfer process development knowledge and organizational procedures by using e-learning modules. Furthermore, the multi-language support will be a key factor to enable subject matter experts in the foreign branch offices to comfortably produce training content – all under the administrative direction of the department Training/Multimedia.
“Mohive eLPS supplements our portfolio and enables us to directly incorporate the know-how of subject matter experts in our production process”, says Michael Schinke, Project Officer at HORNBACH.
